- About me

Hi, I’m Bartosz, a self-taught front-end developer. I like building responsive, user-friendly websites and web apps, that look visually appealing.

My present stack includes HTML, CSS, SCSS and JavaScript, and I am currently in the process of learning Vue. My tools for design are: Affinity Designer/ Photo and Figma.

I am passionate, diligent, detail-oriented and working very well as a part of a team. I always seek towards achieving the best result on each project I lay my hands on.

- Things I've built

01. AllBest Dogs

App that allows a user to find and get to know details about over 200 breeds of dogs.

User can search breeds in several ways: type a breed name inside the search bar, sort by predefined categories, or use an advanced filtering tool.

There is also an option to add breeds to favourites.

Project made to practice work with REST API, organizing code with modules, using parcel and handling errors.

02. Notes 'n Quotes

A simple SPA that allows a user to add, read, edit and delete randomly colored notes.

All notes are visible in the main panel. However, clicking on a note allows to see it on full-screen mode and to edit it.

The tool's other options include: pin a note to the top of a list, generate an inspirational quote hourly, theme change, delete all notes, a graphic instruction of how to use the app.

A fully responsive website, designed and built for a local producer of snacks. Featuring a working contact form.

04. Noughts and Crosses

A simple, two-player game of tic tac toe. Features include animations of a "referee" that depend on situation on a board, as well as option to reset a score.

Project made to practice events handling, DOM manipulation, organizing JavaScript code into separate modules, figuring out how to translate the game logic into code.

A fully responsive, multi page website designed and built for a local veterinary clinic.

Project made to practice BEM, DOM manipulation, Accessibility, Flexbox, Grid and animations.

Working on this site also gave me the opportunity to cooperate closely with a client.
